🎅A sunny season’s greetings from Sicily. 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️10% New Year discount!

While Mount Etna has been far from quiet lately, we hope this Christmas letter from Milo brings you some peace and inspiration for the year ahead!
New Year Special Offer
For those who like nature, there are so many routes to explore in Sicily, unique landscapes to study, new scents to smell and beautiful views to discover. We’d like to help you do that by offering a 10% new year discount on all our daily excursions and multi-day tours booked by January 6th. Go to www.etnabiketours.com for all the special deals!

A visit to Sicily:

Although Mount Etna alone makes it worth the journey, there are many other reasons to visit Sicily such as the island’s stunning nature, delicious food and great vineyards. We plan to add a winery e-bike tour in 2020 to give you the chance to sample all of the above in one experience. Keep an eye on our website for updates!

Memories from 2019:

We had a super biking year and our Summit Ride and Giro dell’Etna excursions proved to be the most popular with our clients. We also organized bespoke bike tours and Lance from Massachusetts celebrated his 80th birthday mountain-biking with some friends on and around Etna on one such tour. What a great way to celebrate!

Weather report (let’s go South)

While it’s much colder in the rest of Europe, Sicily is still sunny and warm with an average daily temperature of 18 degrees this December. On Etna, the first snow has fallen and the craters are covered at the moment which makes them off-limits. But don’t worry, we have plenty of tracks to ride, even by the sea. Why don’t you try the South Sicily Hike and Bike Tour? The perfect way to discover a beautiful part of the island, which is rich in history, art and culinary traditions, as well as great tracks and stunning trails. Now there’s a special discount of €100 per person on the next departure, February 22nd.

2020 NEWS

The Giro D’Italia is coming to Etna again next year. On the 13th May the route will take a first-ever climb from Linguaglossa to Piano Provenzana (18 km with average 7% gradients and peaks of nearly 15% in the stage finale).
As well as our mountain bikes, we now also have a fine selection of Giant road bikes for rent.

Come and say hello. We’ll have a stand at the Itinerando travel show in Padova, north Italy, from the 31st January – 2nd February.

Buon Natale!

From all of us at Etna Bike Tours, we wish you a very happy and healthy Christmas and we send you sunny and warm thoughts from the south of Italy. We’re grateful to all those who biked with us this year and we look forward to seeing you again as well as introducing many more of you to this wonderful island in 2020.
