Description

We start our ride from Milo, a lovely little village nestled on the slopes of Mount Etna, at an altitude of 725 meters. From the main square you can take in the spectacular views of the coast of Calabria all the way to the southern tip of Sicily on a clear day.

After Milo, we head towards Sant’Alfio for a short stop to admire one of the most famous tree in Italy, the Chestnut Tree of One Hundred Horses. This is a beautiful multi-millennial tree located within the Etna Park grounds and is considered to be the largest chestnut tree in Italy.

We continue our ride along secondary roads, crossing the typical rural environment of the volcano with breathtaking views of the Sicilian coastline, until we reach the winery where we will stop to taste four different Etna wines served with the best local delicacies. There will also be a guided tour of the winery where you can see the process and find out more information.

At the end of the tasting we return to Milo on our bikes taking in the wonderful views and admiring the beauty of the volcanic nature along the way.
